How do I get a verified title?

If you have an official chess title, please contact us and get in touch with us for verification. Currently, verification has no benefits aside from giving you an extra recognition on the site that builds trust.

If you see a user holding a title on Chessable that links to this page, it means the user has been VERIFIED and is an actual holder of such title. Please note that we don't accept national titles.

Here is what the titles stand for:

• CM: FIDE Candidate Master

• FM: FIDE Master

• IM: FIDE International Master

• GM: FIDE International Grandmaster

• Titles with a W in front of it, indicate a title bestowed upon a female player, they generally have different rating requirements.
